Returns & Refunds
You may return any item purchased on franciscanabinho.com within 14 days of the delivery date.
How to return
- Request your return. Write to studio@franciscanabinho.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. Within 5 business day you will receive a Return Authorisation by email, together with a prepaid return label.
- Prepare your item. The piece must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition, with all tags attached and its original packaging included. Returns that reach us worn, altered, marked or incomplete will be declined and sent back to you.
- Send it back. Attach the label we provide and hand the parcel to DHL within 14 days of receiving your Return Authorisation. Please use only the label we issue: returns sent by other means cannot be identified at customs and cannot be accepted.
The cost of returning
We issue and arrange every return shipment so that it clears customs correctly. The cost is charged to you and deducted from your refund.
Import duties and taxes paid on delivery outside the European Union are not refundable. These are collected by the customs authority of your country at the moment of import and cannot be recovered by us.
Refunds
Once your return reaches our studio in Portugal, please allow up to 10 business days for it to be inspected and processed. When it is approved you will receive a Refund Confirmation email and the amount, less the return fee above, will be returned to your original method of payment.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, the credit may take a further 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. If you have received a Refund Confirmation email and the amount has not appeared after this period, please contact your bank first, and then write to us.
Exchanges
We do not process exchanges. If you would like a different size or piece, please return the original item and place a new order.
Faulty or incorrect items
If a piece arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, write to us at studio@franciscanabinho.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photographs. Ordinary wear, damage caused by improper care, and alterations made by a third party are not covered.
Exclusions
The following are final sale and cannot be returned: made-to-order and bespoke pieces, altered garments, and earrings, for reasons of hygiene.
A note on repeated returns
Our collections are produced in small quantities in Portugal. Accounts showing an excessive pattern of returns may be flagged and, at our discretion, we may decline future orders or close the account.
